row row row your boat am Seealpsee

Posted by Picasa

our fall weekend destination:
Berggasthaus Forelle am Seealpsee
finally, there's room available in the guesthouse and Mommy can walk normally. It is one hour hike from the base - Wasseruen to the Seealpsee elevation 1143.2m
. Daddy was great - he pushed me all the way up, I was sleepy and didn't want to walk. My loyal bugaboo again succesffully made it up to another Swiss moutain top. The last one was Kleine Scheidegg el. 2061 m.
After a good night sleep, I was all ready to walk down the mountain by myself. In the afternoon, Daddy went to try paragliding with Flugschule appenzell. His instructor
Adi is very experienced. He hold a record of cross country paragliding to Italy in 5 hours. It was a thrilling experience for Daddy. It must feel great to fly like a bird . . .

Explore. Dream. Discover - Mark Twain

For a 2.8 year old, I have covered many miles, well, kilometers, now that I live in Europe. Many people said - "she is not going to remember!" You never know . . .

The church bells wake me up in the morning, the soft grass is my gym-mat, my pets? the adorable cows with bells who also make the best milk, ice cream, chocolate and cheese in the world. A child can not be happier here. How can I describe Switzerland?

Someone once said if she would use one word to describe Switzerland's blue skies, white peaks, green hills, shimmering lakes and cheerful hikers and 'wholesome' fits.

"Wholesome is not letting your kids watch TV and slicing your own fresh loaf of nutty wheat bread. Wholesome is creamy, fatty dairy products from pretty brown and white spotted cows with giant, clanging bells around their necks. Wholesome is daily trips to the market, buying farm fresh, hormone-free eggs and toting them home in your own basket or canvas bag. Wholesome is Switzerland."
